Spring is Here!
Spring has arrived in the Okanagan and the season is well under way here at Upper Bench. Our tasting room is busier every day and The Oven will soon be open for some hot, fresh pizza!
This year, we will be having more events than ever at Upper Bench. We began with our sold out Adult Easter Egg Hunt which was a huge success and such a perfect way to kick off the season. Naramata Winemaker Bench Series
Have you ever wanted to rub shoulders with the masterminds behind that tasty bottle of wine? Here is your chance to mingle, dine and try their wine. Join us at the Bard & Banker Pub in Victoria, BC for a night filled with spectacular wine, outstanding canapes and the chance to gain a wealth of knowledge from the greats in the industry in a fun, intimate setting.

ReWined
Guests will have the opportunity to get some of the first sips of spring wine releases from 19 of the renowned wineries from the Naramata Bench Wineries Association, presented alongside delicious small bites from Vancouver Island local food providers, and a silent auction including Naramata wines and experiences.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon to support granting life-changing wishes to children living with a critical illness on Vancouver Island.

Wine for Waves
Join us to sip and savour Naramata Bench’s Spring Wine Releases. On April 13, this delicious evening of wining and dining will bring together B.C.’s best wineries and sustainable seafood restaurants. Taste Ocean Wise offerings, meet top B.C. winemakers, and bid on silent auction items including exclusive Naramata wines and wine experience packages.
All proceeds will benefit the Ocean Wise sustainable seafood program.

$10 Pizzas Thursday, April 12!
Thursday only, as Chef Daniel practices some of the recipes for this season, we will be offering $10 take-away pizzas. The patio is not open yet, we are still waiting for the weather to warm up a little bit, but you can take the pizzas to-go.
Call the winery to find out what your options are and place your order (250) 770-1733. Pizza will be available starting at 12:00pm until supplies run out!

2017 Chardonnay Release Party
Two vintages following our Lieutenant Governor’s Award-winning Chardonnay, our customers and followers are eager to see what’s new with this year’s release. We are officially sold out of 2016 so check your local liquor stores to see if you can get your hands on a bottle to save and compare. Click here to find out where our wines are sold.
2017 Rosé Release Party
We only produced 80 cases of Rosé this year and half of that will be going out in the June Curds & Corks Club shipment. Our Rosé is eagerly awaited and highly sought-after every year. We will only be offering it through online orders and at the winery (if there is any left!).
